Woosool Waraq is a complete PDF editor for files stored in Khazna. Comment, edit text and pictures, reorganise pages, fill in and prepare forms, sign, redact and recognise text in scans. All the processing happens on your device, and every save becomes a new Khazna version.

What you can do

    Comment and review

    Highlights, notes, text boxes, callouts, drawings, shapes and stamps. Reply to comments, set their review status, and exchange them as XFDF.

  • 02

    Edit text and pictures

    Edit existing text right on the page, in its own font, with paragraphs that reflow as you type. Add text in Latin, Arabic or Korean scripts, then move and resize pictures and shapes. Watermarks, headers, footers and page numbers can be added and removed again.

    Organise pages

    Rotate, reorder by dragging, duplicate, insert, extract, split and delete pages, or combine several PDFs and pictures into one file.

    Fill, sign and prepare forms

    Fill in form fields on the page, sign with a drawn, typed or image signature, or sign with a digital certificate and check existing signatures. Add form fields, or detect them on flat forms.

    Redaction that really removes

    Find words, e-mail addresses, phone and card numbers, or mark areas and whole pages. Applying the redaction deletes the text, pixels and drawings underneath from the file; it does not just cover them.

    Recognise and convert

    Make scanned pages searchable with on-device OCR in English, French and Arabic. Export to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF, HTML, text or images, and save the result in Khazna.

Security

Security and privacy

  1. Processed on your device

    Rendering, editing, redaction, OCR and conversion all run in your browser. Woosool only receives the finished file when you save it.

  2. Scanned before saving

    Every PDF and exported file is checked by the antivirus before it reaches Khazna. Office files with macros are refused.

  3. Scripts never run

    Scripts embedded in PDFs are never executed, and the editor loads nothing from outside Woosool.

Questions and answers

Are my PDFs uploaded to a conversion server?

No. Everything is processed in your browser. A file reaches Woosool only when you save it to Khazna.

Does it handle Arabic?

Yes. The interface runs right to left in Arabic, and Arabic text added to a PDF is joined correctly and remains searchable.

How large can a PDF be?

Up to 200 MB. Very large or complex files depend on your device’s memory.

What if two people save the same file?

Waraq notices that the file changed, and asks whether to keep your version or reload theirs. Nothing is overwritten silently, and earlier versions stay in Khazna.
