Command line

Install without security warnings

Files fetched from the command line are not marked as downloaded, so macOS and Windows do not ask you to confirm the first launch. These commands install every app.

macOS, Linux and ChromeOS — in Terminal

First launch

If you downloaded with a browser

macOS
Open the .dmg and drag the apps to Applications. Open an app once, then go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.

Windows
Run the installer and choose the apps you want. On “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info › Run anyway.

Linux
Install the .deb with your software centre, or run: sudo apt install ./maktab_*.deb

ChromeOS
Turn on Linux in Settings › About ChromeOS › Developers, then open the .deb from the Files app.
