Security
Security and privacy
- Scanned uploads
Every new file and version is scanned for malware, including files saved from Barid and imports from Qalam, Jadwal and Sard. If the scan cannot run, the upload is refused.
- Encrypted in chunks
Files you upload are encrypted at rest with strong encryption, piece by piece.
- Permission-checked downloads
Files never sit on a public link. Every download is checked against your access first.
- Protected links
Link passwords are stored in a scrambled form that is slow and costly to crack, and lock after 10 wrong tries. Revoking a link takes effect immediately.
- Safe previews
File types are detected from their content, not their name. Files that could run code in your browser are never opened there.

What is the largest file I can upload?
Up to 2 GB per file by default. Large uploads resume if your connection drops.
Can I get back a file I deleted?
Yes, from the trash within 30 days. You can also restore earlier versions of a file.
Can I share with someone who has no Woosool account?
Yes, with a share link. Add a password and an expiry, and decide whether downloads are allowed.
What happens when I remove someone’s access?
It takes effect immediately. Every request is checked against current permissions.
