Security
Security and privacy
- Scanned attachments
Every attachment and pasted image is scanned for malware. If the scan cannot run, it is refused.
- Access checked every time
Permissions are checked on every request. Notes you cannot see simply return “not found”.
- Short-lived file links
Attachments are served through signed links that expire quickly.
- Content stays out of links
Barid and Khazna connect through single-use links handled on the server, so note content never appears in a web address.

Questions and answers
Can I bring my notes from another service?
Yes. Export your notes from the other service and import the archive into Woosool Fikra.
Can two people edit a note at the same time?
Not live yet. If a note changes while you edit, Fikra asks which version to keep. Real-time co-editing is planned.
How do reminders work?
Reminders appear inside the app today. Email and push reminders are planned.
Can I get my notes out again?
Yes. Export them at any time as text, web pages or a data file.
