Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Woosool — every app, the mobile apps and everything published with them, such as sites, public forms, booking pages, shared links and meetings. It exists to keep Woosool safe and trustworthy for the people who use it and the people they write to.
1. Illegal and harmful content
- No child sexual abuse material, ever. We remove it, close the account and report it to the competent authorities.
- No content or activity that is illegal where you or your audience are, including terrorist content and content that incites violence.
- No harassment, threats, stalking or publishing other people’s private information without their consent.
- No infringing other people’s copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- No collecting or processing personal data — through forms, booking pages, sites or anything else — without a lawful basis, or in breach of the promises you made to the people concerned.
2. Spam and bulk mail
- Send bulk or marketing messages only to people who asked for them, and honour every unsubscribe request promptly.
- Do not use bought, rented or harvested address lists.
- Do not forge headers, hide the real sender or send from addresses you are not allowed to use.
- Respect sending limits. Woosool is not a bulk mailing service; we may slow down or pause sending that looks like spam.
3. Phishing, fraud and impersonation
- Do not impersonate other people, organisations, Woosool or other brands, in an address, a display name, a site, a form or a meeting.
- Do not build sites, forms or messages that trick people into giving passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
- No scams, fraud or deceptive offers.
4. Malware and attacks
- Do not send, store or share malware. Uploads and incoming mail are scanned, and files found infected are refused.
- Do not try to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to use, or probe, scan or test the Services except under the security research rules in the Terms.
- Do not overload, disrupt or attack the Services or anyone else’s systems, including with denial-of-service attacks.
- Do not get around limits and protections — rate limits, sign-up checks, invitations, quotas, sharing restrictions or organisation policies — and do not create accounts automatically.
- Do not use Woosool to mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies or relays, or resell the Services without our written agreement.
5. Respect the people you work with
- Recording a meeting shows a banner to everyone, but you are still responsible for getting any consent the law requires before recording.
- Use the answers, bookings and files that people send you only for the purpose you told them about.
- Do not share content that others shared with you beyond what they allowed.
6. Sites and public content
When you publish a site, a public form, a booking page or a public link, you are its publisher. Make sure it is lawful, that it does not mislead visitors, and that it shows any information the law requires — for example who runs the site and how you handle visitors’ data.
7. Reporting abuse
Report spam, phishing, malware, illegal content or other abuse coming from Woosool to abuse@woosool.com. Please include what you saw and where: the link, or the message with its full headers. For illegal content, also explain why you believe it is illegal and give your name and e-mail address, with a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith. Report security vulnerabilities to security@woosool.com.
8. What we do about breaches
We look at reports and at what we can see without reading private content, and we respond in proportion to the harm: a warning, removing content, disabling a link, form, site or booking page, limiting sending, suspending or closing the account. In urgent cases — malware, phishing, child sexual abuse material or attacks — we act straight away. We tell you what we did and why, unless the law forbids it or telling you would put others at risk or compromise an investigation.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or write to abuse@woosool.com. A person, not an automated system, reviews every appeal.
