Woosool Wasla · Meet

Video meetings with real host controls and optional end-to-end encryption.

Woosool Wasla runs in the browser and on Android, with no plug-in to install. Hosts control who joins and who speaks, and the server enforces it. Turn on end-to-end encryption when a conversation must stay between the people in it.

Overview

What you can do

  • 01

    Clear video, steady calls

Simulcast adapts video to each connection, audio holds up on weak networks, and calls reconnect on their own.

  • 02

    Layouts for every meeting

Gallery pages of up to 49 tiles, speaker view, pinning, presenter view and picture-in-picture.

  • 03

    Waiting room and lock

Admit or deny people one by one or all at once, lock the meeting, and decide whether guests may join.

  • 04

    Host controls that hold

Mute one or all, stop cameras or screens, remove and block, end for everyone. The server enforces every action.

  • 05

    Engage the room

Chat with everyone, privately or with hosts. Raise hands in order, react, run polls and take upvoted questions.

  • 06

    Breakout rooms

Shuffle people into up to 50 rooms, visit any room as host, and bring everyone back with a timer.

  • 07

    Whiteboard

Draw, add shapes and text across pages, import images or PDFs, and export the result as an image or PDF.

  • 08

    Webinar mode for large rooms

Above 100 people, attendees watch and raise a hand. The host lets them speak when it’s their turn.

  • 09

    Recording with consent

Record the meeting on the server as a video file. A banner tells everyone the meeting is being recorded.

Security

Security and privacy

  1. Opt-in end-to-end encryption

The key lives only in the meeting link and is never sent to our servers. It covers audio, video, chat and whiteboard images.

  2. Honest labels

Encrypted meetings show a safety code to compare. Others are labelled “encrypted in transit”. Recording is off in encrypted meetings.

  3. Chat that doesn’t linger

Meeting chat is deleted when the meeting ends.

  4. Private recordings

Recordings are private, and download links expire after 10 minutes.

  5. No outside services

Wasla calls no third-party services while it runs. Background effects use models hosted on our own servers.

Questions and answers

How many people can join?

Wasla is designed for large meetings. Above 100 people it switches to webinar mode, where attendees watch and the host invites them to speak.

Do guests need an account?

Only if the host wants it. When guests are allowed, they join with a visible “Guest” label.

Are meetings end-to-end encrypted?

When you turn it on, yes. Otherwise meetings are encrypted in transit, and the app tells you which one you are in.

No. Wasla does not offer live captions or transcription.

Do I need to install anything?
